Hi I am new to this forum, and would like some advice. We have made an offer on a 3 bed mid terrace. It needs a lot of work i.e. central heating, new bathroom and kitchen etc. Our intention was to renovate and rent it as a 3 bed property. We have only just thought of the possibility of changing it into 2 one bedroom flats. There should be room to provide them both with a parking space.
Can you please give us an idea of how we go about this, and can we apply for planning before the property completes. Do you also know what possible cost implications there would be. Any information you could give us would be greatly appreciated as this is the first time we have attempted anything more than a cosmetic makeover. Thanks Mandy
